Patricia Sullivan reported by telephone on the death of Mildred Loving on May 1, 2008. Mrs. Loving was a principal in Loving v. Virginia, the landmark Supreme Court case that legalized interracial marriage in the United States. She talked about the Lovings, how their case occurred, and their subsequent life. Photographs of Mildred and Richard Loving and of the 1967 U.S. Supreme Court justices were shown.
